* Summary:

** Set-up and operate assigned complex equipment to produce materials to meet quality, productivity and safety goals.  
*
* PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Works within Standard work, control plans, work instructions and quality specifications to operate equipment and get defined output.
* Select and install proper tooling and equipment required to produce desired parts.
* Ensure accurate set-up following company practice and procedures.
* Performs changeovers to defined standards to meet product specifications.
* Troubleshoot material and machine problems.
* Select, inspect and machine material.
* Use measuring tools for managing product quality within defined parameters of the standard work and quality documentation.
* Detect and report defective material, improper equipment operations and unusual conditions to supervisor.
* Assure compliance with all related safety policies and procedures.
* Participate in continuous improvement process and other lean initiatives.
* Understand and participate in achieving departmental and company goals.
* Serve as a member of the manufacturing team, providing assistance as needed.  
** QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:**
* ** Must be able to successfully complete internal skills testing.
*** High School Graduate/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum of one year experience in a related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.
* Must be able to read blueprints.
* Basic reading, writing, and shop math skills are required including tolerances and angle measurements.
* Must be able to use calipers, go and no-go gauges, tape rulers, protractors, square, hand and power tools.
* Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Dependability/punctuality.
* Must be able to obtain Lock Out Tag Out certification upon hire.
** Physical ability to perform key job duties:
*** Must be able to stand for 10 hrs
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs (Some position may require lifting up to 75 lbs.)
* Ability to lift and maneuver bulky product
