We are seeking a Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our team at Leachman Lumber Company in Des Moines, IA. This role is crucial to our daily operations and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

• Operate forklift to move materials within the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks with lumber and building materials
• Keep warehouse organized and maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist with general labor tasks as needed
• Adhere to safety procedures and protocols

• Prior experience operating a forklift beneficial
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding role
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
