Construction​/Production Foreman

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction/Production Foreman to lead daily operations within an Enclosure Department. This role is responsible for safety, scheduling, quality oversight, and team leadership in a hands-on construction or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Occasionally support off-site work as needed.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and support team members.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Enforce quality standards and resolve production or personnel issues.
• Coordinate project progress to meet timelines and productivity goals.
• Create and manage work schedules for employees and contractors.
• Lead daily production activities while ensuring all safety standards are followed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings; communicate requirements to crews.

Qualifications/Must Haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• 1+ year experience as a foreman, lead, or supervisor.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• 5+ years' experience in construction or manufacturing environments.
• Physically able to perform job duties (lifting up to 40 lbs., standing, climbing, etc.)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Electrical license (State of Iowa preferred)
• Experience hiring, training, and mentoring teams.
• Familiarity with quality standards and production oversight.
• Strong working knowledge of hand tools and measurement tools.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, lifting, bending, climbing, and tool use.
• Active, hands-on role in construction/manufacturing settings.
• Exposure to typical job-site noise and environmental conditions.
