The Director of Early Childhood Prevention & Home Visiting Services is responsible for statewide oversight of home visiting and prevention programs including Healthy Families America and Parents As Teachers program implementation and assurance of model fidelity. Position provides supervision to Early Childhood Manager and Coordinators across the state. Responsible for program planning, funding, and delivery of services. Facilitates collaboration with community and state partners as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
Develops and oversees budgets with complex blended funding to support programming. Collaborates with the grant department to respond to grant and other funding opportunities including local, state and federal. Ensures adherence to best practices. Participates in and may present at local and state ECI and other stakeholder meetings. In collaboration with the Director of Service Quality, provides oversight to the Iowa Family Support Credential
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor s degree in health or human service related field with a minimum of ten years of related experience, plus five years of supervisory experience. Preferred:
Masters degree in related field.
