Housekeeping Split; is and weekend

Position: Housekeeping Full-time Split (Schedule is 7am-3:30pm with 1 day a week and every other weekend hours of 11am-8pm)
Luther Park Community has anopening for a real go-getter, self starter housekeeper that works very well aspart of a team but is responsible for their own work. Our Housekeepingcrew works independently, each having their own assignments but also as a teamto help each other complete all daily tasks in a timely manner.
The hours for this position are 3 days a week from 7am-3:30pm and 1 day each week and EOW working 11am-8pm. The 7am-3:30pm shifts will be a float for the housekeeping department and the 11am-8pm shift will be doing floor care.

Job Summary:

Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Environmental Services Supervisor.

Ensure all daily and deepcleaning duties are adhered to.

Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.

Ensure all cleaning chemicalsare correctly and safely used and kept safely in locked cart.

Adhere to correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents.

Adhere to all policies and procedures that pertain to your position and department.

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel,crouch, perform overhead lifting and perform other common physical movements asneeded. Walking and be on your feet for 90% of the day. Ability to lift 40lbs.

Dust, clean, and polish allfixtures, furniture, curtains, baseboards, vents, windows, fans, top of door frames, top of windows, etc.

Collect and dispose of trashproperly.

Move furniture and other heavyobjects as required to clean.

Check all electrical cords on bedsand lamps for bare wires and report any issues to facilities.

Assist with resident moves and preparing rooms for admissions.

Experience/

Educational Requirements::



1 year or more experience inhousekeeping preferred but not mandatory.

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to read, write,speak and understand the English language.

Must possess good verbal communication skills.

Must follow written and verbaldirection from supervisor.

Must attend all scheduled in services or complete all on line classes in a timely manner.

Ability to work alone as well aspart of a team.
