Risk Manager/Analyst
As the Director of Loss Control
, you will be responsible for the development, strategic direction, and evaluation of the Loss Control team and function. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of services designed to create a safe work environment and build and maintain strong relationships with RAS clients. This role is responsible for the execution, management, and oversight of a comprehensive risk‑management program focused on minimizing exposures and losses related to workers’ compensation claims.
You will work closely with peers in Underwriting, Business Development, and Claims to drive profitable growth.
Location and travel: Candidates must reside in one of our core states – SD, MN, IA, NE, MO, WI, or KS. This is a work‑from‑home role with some overnight travel required.
What are we looking for?- Minimum of 5 years of experience in loss control, client‑relationship management, or related experience.
- People‑management experience is required.
- Must be a strategic thinker with exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a team player first and foremost; collaboration is a key to success.
- Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Possess above‑average analytical skills and strong loss‑data analysis capabilities.
- Advanced problem‑solving and independent decision‑making skills.
- Great computer skills and knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
