Des Moines Iowa (Onsite – open to part-time),

One of our clients is looking for a detail-oriented and technically inclined Project Support Coordinator to provide customer support and assist with a process documentation and improvement initiative, primarily supporting the configuration and setup of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service capabilities, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and comfort working with repetitive system configuration tasks.

Familiarity with MS Share Point and a general technical aptitude are essential for success in this role.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with the documentation and refinement of business processes and workflows.
  • Support the configuration and setup of applicant tracking software, including data migration, user setup, and system testing.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing clear guidance on system usage and documentation.
  • Maintain and organize documentation using MS Share Point and other collaboration tools.
  • Use advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate process information.
  • Create and update process maps, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Provide administrative support including meeting coordination, note-taking, and status updates.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Perform repetitive system configuration tasks with accuracy and consistency.

What You'll Have:

  • Experience in a support, coordination, or administrative role involving systems or process documentation.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with software tools and system configurations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using MS Share Point for documentation and collaboration.
  • Ability to understand how tasks impact broader systems and proactively ask follow-up questions to clarify needs and improve outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in HR, recruitment, or systems implementation.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools, though formal project management experience is not required.
  • Experience providing customer support, including troubleshooting issues, guiding users through system processes, and ensuring a positive user experience.
