The Department of Management's Division of IT is looking for a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer with 10+ years of experience and deep expertise in Terraform to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing AWS services, particularly Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining Istio service mesh within an EKS cluster.

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Type Script.
• Manage, configure, and optimize AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECR, Cognito, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, and Cloud Front.
• Architect, build, and sustain Istio service mesh within EKS clusters.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship in AWS cloud infrastructure implementation.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for IaC.
• Lead the implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment of infrastructure and applications.
• Set up monitoring systems, dashboards, and alerts using Fluent Bit, Cloud Watch, and Dynatrace.
• Use Helm charts to package, install, upgrade, and configure resources on EKS.
• Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance and reliability.
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls to ensure high operational and security standards.

• Hands‑on experience in Terraform development using Type Script (≥4 years).
• Experience developing and managing AWS services with a focus on Amazon EKS (≥8 years).
• Designing, building, and maintaining service mesh like Istio within EKS (≥4 years).
• Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECR, S3, Cognito, NLB (≥8 years).
• Experience with Docker containers and microservices frameworks (≥6 years).
• Experience with Helm charts (≥6 years).
• Proficiency in Type Script and Python scripting (≥6 years).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub, Git Hub Actions, etc. (≥8 years).
• Solid understanding of AWS Well‑Architected Frameworks (≥4 years).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS) (≥8 years).
• Experience implementing security best practices within AWS (≥6 years).
• Configuration management and orchestration tools to ensure operational and security standards (≥8 years).
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, etc. (please upload).
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Previous experience in the public sector or on large-scale projects.
