Infrastructure & Identity Systems Engineer
The Iowa Department of Management (DOM) is seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Identity Systems Engineer with deep technical expertise in printer administration, OKTA, and OKTA Advanced Server Access (ASA). This role focuses on managing enterprise-wide installations, updates, and upgrades, while ensuring robust security protocols are maintained in the Okta environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead printer administration and management across the organization.
- Manage Fairfax systems and Secure Doc functionality.
- Execute installations, updates, and system upgrades for enterprise infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain advanced system security methods and techniques.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation critical for system rewrites and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- Provide on‑call support for nightly and weekend patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Independently learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and business functionality.

Skills and Experience:
Candidates must demonstrate at least 8 years of experience in the following areas:
- Printer administration and management.
- Secure Doc administration.
- Basic system management processes and systems.
- Information management, file structure, and data representation.
- Advanced system security methods and techniques.
- Delivering assigned tasks with accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams.
- Attention to detail, particularly in generating documentation foundational to system rewrites.
- Working independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
- A proactive approach to learning new systems and processes.
