Enterprise Systems Engineer/Administrator
The Iowa Department of Management (DOM) is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Systems Engineer/Administrator with deep expertise in enterprise-level systems administration and management. This position focuses on Print Administration, Active Directory, Adobe Sign, Windows Administration, and ensuring robust security measures using Okta. The role involves performing installations, updates, upgrades, and ongoing support across the enterprise environment while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage enterprise print systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across the organization.
- Administer and maintain Active Directory, including the creation and management of Group Policies to support organizational needs.
- Provide expert-level administration of Microsoft 365 tools and services, enabling seamless collaboration and productivity for all users.
- Apply advanced system management processes to ensure efficient operations and alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement and maintain system security protocols, employing advanced methods to safeguard enterprise data and infrastructure.
- Coordinate nightly and weekend patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity and availability.
- Collaborate across teams to generate accurate documentation that supports system rewrites, upgrades, and knowledge transfer.
- Work independently and proactively to learn new systems, processes, and business functionalities, ensuring continued growth and adaptability.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders, providing precise verbal and written updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
This is a Contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 – $65.00/hr.
