Software Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and execution of multi-year strategies for systems, teams, and major projects
• Oversee team performance, resource allocation, and compliance with development processes
• Provide strategic direction and mentorship to team leads and engineers across multiple initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business and IT leaders to identify needs and design solutions
• Drive continuous improvement through performance metrics and operational health indicators
• Manage project and operational budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Champion talent development, performance management, and employee engagement within your teams
• Serve as a primary liaison with executive stakeholders including VPs, PMs, and business unit leaders
• Contribute innovative ideas to optimize workflows, enhance delivery, and improve ROI
• Travel as needed: approximately 10-30%

• 5+ years of experience in software development, including several years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to lead teams within Agile, Dev Ops, and ITSM/ITIL frameworks
• Strong understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• 5–8+ years of front-end development experience, with expert-level knowledge of ReactJS
• Proficiency in Node.js and/or Next.js is preferred;

• 5+ years of experience managing teams or acting as a team lead
• Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
