Job Details:

• Work in a 22-bed medical surgical unit treating general med surg patients including renal, transplant, and urology cases

• Patient ratio of 1:5-6

• Weekend schedule requirement: every other or 3rd weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled

• Required to float across all campuses:
Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist

• Navy blue scrubs required

• EPIC EMR system experience required

• Minimum 24 months of current medical surgical experience required

• At least one travel contract completed within previous 12 months required

• BLS certification (AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross) required

• Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required

• Skills checklist specific to medical surgical discipline required

• Professional reference from charge nurse/supervisor/nurse manager/director within 24 months preferred

• Driver's license required
