Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling options

• Guaranteed 16 hours per week (NBO)

• Work every 3rd weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled

• Required to float across all campuses:
Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist

• 22-bed unit specializing in general medical surgical care including renal, transplant, and urology patients

• Patient ratio of 1:5-6

• Navy blue scrubs required

• EPIC EMR system experience required

• Minimum 24 months of current Med Surg/Medical Surgical experience required

• At least one travel contract completed within previous 12 months required

• BLS certification from AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross required

• Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required

• Skills checklist specific to medical surgical discipline required

• Professional reference from charge/supervisor/nurse manager within 24 months preferred

• Overtime billable after 40 hours per week (36-40 hrs/week) or after 48 hours (48 hrs/week)

• Holiday pay at 1.15x multiplier
