Pay
:

  • $50,000 base salary for non‑independently licensed therapists
  • $54,500 base salary for independently licensed therapists
  • $2,000 sign‑on bonus upon hire for non‑independently and independently licensed therapists
  • Salary adjustments are made to compensate applicable experience.

Position Overview

The Therapist provides diagnostic and treatment services to children, parents, and families, including consultation services to other agencies, family life and mental health education, and participation in Child Guidance Center program reviews and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess children, youth, and families and develop specific mental health treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and family trauma‑informed therapy services that build resilience.
  • Coordinate clinical work with services provided by other agencies and individuals.
Qualifications
  • Licensed, or eligible for license, in Iowa as an LMSW, LISW, LMHC or LMFT, or temporarily licensed in Iowa as T‑LMHC or T‑LMFT.
  • Experience providing therapeutic services to children, youth, and families.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
