Travel Registered Nurse ICU

Overview

Trinity Health First Choice is seeking a travel Registered Nurse ICU – Intensive Care Unit for a 13‑week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. The role offers premium pay and flexible scheduling.

Base weekly rate: $2,592.00 (36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts). Total compensation is based on the actual shift schedule.

• Provide critical patient care in the ICU setting.
• Fluently float among multiple hospital locations and regions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Act independently within RN scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and decision outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to support quality improvement.
• Demonstrate agility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
• Minimum of 18 months of recent clinical experience in Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
• Minimum two years of recent clinical experience in Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
• Required credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
