Shift: 8:00am to 4:30pm, M-F; weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotation; rotates to 3 campuses in Des Moines area. FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.0. Sign On Bonus: $7,500.

Job

• Provide high quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging at a technical level with minimal supervision.
• Assist the Radiologist in the performance of advanced procedures.
• Serve as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff and physicians.
• Educate and protect all customers entering the magnetic field.
• Assist with sedating and monitoring of patients.
• Assist in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.

• Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist.
• Maintain yearly CEU requirements.
• MRI experience, preferred.
• Current Iowa Permit to Practice.
• ARRT MRI Board Certification, preferred.
• CPR certified.
• Must be able to read, speak and write fluent English.
