Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT(MR) certification and strong Siemens and GE MRI skills for an evening shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in an MRI department supporting ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Utilize Siemens and GE MRI equipment for a variety of imaging procedures
- Perform power injection contrast injections as part of imaging protocols
- Epic Radiant EMR is used; proficiency required
- Evening shifts from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, 40 hours per week
- On-call required: one weeknight every other week and one weekend (Fri/Sat) every 10th weekend
- May be required to float between multiple campuses within the health system
- Contrast injection responsibilities included
- Scrubs must be charcoal gray
- May be asked to cover shifts or float to other campuses within the system
- Team environment involves interaction with ED, inpatient, and outpatient staff
- Minimum of 24 months recent MRI experience
- Strong proficiency operating Siemens and GE MRI equipment
- Current ARRT(R)(MR) certification required
- Prior travel experience required
- EPIC Radiant EMR experience required
- Active state license required if applicable
- Valid driver’s license required
- Skills checklist specific to MRI must be completed
- Professional reference from a supervisor within the last 24 months preferred
