Plant Controller

The Plant Controller is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, overseeing core accounting functions, and delivering accurate, actionable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with executive leadership and plant operations to drive financial transparency, cost discipline, and operational efficiency across production and administrative functions.

The Plant Controller ensures the integrity of financial records, maintains strong internal controls, and ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable industry regulations. This position reports directly to the CFO and has direct oversight of all accounting personnel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• At least two (2) years of experience in, or exposure to, a manufacturing environment utilizing cost accounting principles.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting methodologies, and internal controls.
• Experience working with ERP systems and supporting audit processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or MBA.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Prior experience supporting operational or plant-level financial decision-making.
