We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Associate to join our team! This role is responsible for providing comprehensive operational support to the Corporate Private Placements and Infrastructure Debt teams, including trading support, portfolio credit reporting tracking, client portfolio servicing, RFP responses and client reporting, portfolio valuation, and ensuring timely execution of internal workflows.
Key responsibilities- Monitor portfolio holdings for financial reporting and covenant compliance tracking.
- Ensure timely execution of internal trading workflows and coordinate with operational/accounting teams.
- Support coordination with client requests and ad hoc portfolio monitoring and reporting.
- Support inquiries from marketing, RFP, product, distribution, clients, and client reporting.
- Develop knowledge of financial markets, current events, laws and regulations, tax and accounting trends and implications, and business operating trends.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (finance, accounting, economics, statistics, engineering, data science, business analytics).
- 3+ years investment‑related work experience.
- Experience in financial markets with exposure to fixed income including investment strategies or portfolio management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Familiarity with credit analysis, debt instruments, and related financial products.
- Hands‑on experience with Bloomberg, Charles River, or other debt trading platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with proven ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.5 or above.
$110,000 - $187,200 / year
LocationWorld Headquarters:
Des Moines, IA or New York City. This role will be based either out of our World Headquarters located in Des Moines, IA, or New York City.
