Location: Central Iowa
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: $70,000–$120,000 (experience‑based)

Join a Growing Electrical Manufacturer in Central IowaOur partner, a rapidly expanding electrical manufacturer, is seeking a motivated Engineer I to support its power systems and infrastructure operations. This is a direct‑hire, long‑term role with a stable company known for strong training, hands‑on mentorship, and meaningful growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do- Design AC and DC schematics and wiring diagrams for relay panels and control enclosures.
- Support electrical design efforts across power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
- Review customer and subcontractor drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain drawing standards and uphold internal quality requirements.
- Provide technical support to customers, project managers, and fabrication teams.
- Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and resolving technical issues.
- Participate in functional testing and interaction with shop personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (required).
- Open to entry‑level candidates
, recent grads, or engineers with 5–10+ years of experience
. - Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD (2D) strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical design or power systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office;
Micro Station experience is helpful but not required. - Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Monday–Friday, fully on‑site.
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
. - Entry‑level: $70,000–$80,000
- Experienced engineers: $100,000–$120,000
- Salaried position with occasional overtime.
