This is a full‑time exempt position. As the Production Engineer you will manage day‑to‑day operations, track and understand costs, yields, quality, and process performance to enable efficient plant production. You will mentor front‑line teammates, nurturing talent while working with contractors, colleagues, and leadership.

• Oversight of specific processes and projects
• Project management responsibilities including purchasing of materials and supplies, equipment installation, budget tracking, employee training, and startup of projects
• Oversight of day‑to‑day operations, including shift coverage support if needed
• Project design, development, and management in operations
• Conduct optimization assessments to identify opportunities for improvement, proposing solutions in energy, chemicals, product yields, and reliability
• Support capital projects including control strategy development, P&, process control narrative administration for control application development and startup
• Training and mentoring colleagues, potentially indirectly managing 10‑30 hourly colleagues
• Maintain high availability for a 24/7 operation

• B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Agriculture preferred) or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in continuous manufacturing, food processing production or similar industry
• Previous leadership experience (union environment a plus)
• Strong fluids commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to manage cross‑function teams and work closely with corporate departments
• Ability automat’s anticipate challenges and implement solutions
• Subject‑matter expertise in a variety of process unit operations
• Ability to work a rotating shift including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay range for this position is $72,900.00 - $. The position offers a salaried incentive plan, with a potential annual bonus.
