Job Description
As a Design Engineer, you will partner with structural engineers to design and model products for our customers. You will create blueprints and bills of materials for offsite manufacturing and work with subcontractors and contractors on installation expectations. Collaboration with the team on project deadlines is essential.
Responsibilities- Design and model products in partnership with structural engineers.
- Create detailed blueprints and bills of materials for offsite manufacturing.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and contractors regarding installation expectations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD, Design, Drafting, Inventor, Solid Works, Creo, and Pro/E.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 6 months of experience with 3D modeling software such as Solid Works, Inventor, or Creo.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
