Job DescriptionOlsson provides multidisciplinary design services for some of the largest and most forward-thinking companies in the world. We design large hyperscale data center campuses and colocation data centers throughout the U.S. This role gives you the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex engineering-driven projects being built today. Our clients are relationship based and truly value the work we do for them, allowing us to contribute to society’s technological and connected community through the design of the critical infrastructure that is the foundation of these projects.
This senior civil designer focuses on grading & utility work and will work in a collaborative team environment on complex multidisciplinary projects. You will work closely with licensed engineers on plans and calculations, utilizing your expertise in Civil 3D and CAD software. In addition to sheet production, you will independently design utilities and surfaces with the oversight of an engineer, creating accurate and efficient design solutions, detailed drawings, and models to communicate design intent.
Projects range from roughly 20 acres to 200+ acres.

- Associate’s degree in drafting or related field preferred
- 8 or more years of expertise in drafting and design
- Experience in surface creation, analysis, utility design, and BIM coordination
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software
The posted salary range for this position correlates with our Colorado office locations and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.
Colorado Pay Range$87,000 - $114,000 USD
