Position Overview:

A well-established facility in  Dubuque, Iowa  is seeking a  Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist  to provide  full-time locum coverage . This is an outpatient-focused position offering stable, weekday-only hours with no call responsibilities. Ideal candidates will be experienced with Aria EMR and the full range of external beam radiation techniques.

Key Details:

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Shift Length:  8 hours/day

Call:  None

Setting:  100% outpatient with occasional inpatient consults

Assignment Structure:  Must commit to  4-week blocks ; time off can be taken between blocks, but not during

Credentialing:  Temp privileges available (30–60 days)

Practice Information:

Current Staffing:  Solo Radiation Oncologist (you will be the only one onsite)

Average Patient Volume:

Outpatient:  20–25 patients/day (treatment visits, follow-ups, consults)

Inpatient:  0–1 consult/day

Trauma Level:  Level II

Patient Demographic:  Adult only

EMR:  Aria (experience highly preferred)

Required:

Conventional Radiotherapy

3D Conformal Radiotherapy (3D-CRT)

IMRT (Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy)

IGRT (Image-Guided Radiation Therapy)

Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)

Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)

Photon Beam Radiation Therapy

Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy

Requirements:

Board Certified in Radiation Oncology

Active Iowa License OR IMLC

COVID-19 Vaccination – Required

Available for 4-week full-time stretches – Required

Experience with Aria EMR – Highly Preferred

Compensation Breakdown (All Inclusive):

Base Hourly Rate:  $450/hr (negotiable)

Holiday Pay:  Additional

Overtime Pay:  Additional

Holiday OT Pay:  Additional

Orientation Pay:  Additional

Malpractice Coverage:  Included
