About the Position
Locum Jobs Online is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Anesthesiology MD in Iowa!
Ready to elevate your anesthesiology career with top-tier pay and unbeatable benefits? We’re seeking 1-2 dedicated Fulltime Locum Anesthesiologists in Waterloo, IA to join a dynamic team starting ASAP, with a January/February 2026 start date.

Flexible schedule: fulltime preferred, but 2 weeks/month coverage considered
Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM with manageable weekend call rotation
Work alongside a supportive group of 6 physicians and 2 CRNAs in 13 OR rooms
No clinics, just focused anesthesia care — including OB (TOLAC) and mostly healthy pediatric cases (tonsils and adenoids)
EPIC EMR
Your Role:
Provide expert anesthesia care before and during surgeries
Manage OB and pediatric anesthesia cases with confidence
Participate in call rotation (night and weekend call)
Collaborate with a close-knit anesthesia team
Requirements:
Board Certified Anesthesiologist
Active Iowa license or IMLC
ACLS certification (can be obtained during credentialing)
COVID vaccinated
Clean malpractice history (no settled or pending cases)
Available for minimum 2 weeks/month with call coverage
