• Monday Friday schedule with call rotation

  Soft tissue and EMTALA call rotation

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon for a full-time locum opportunity in Iowa. The role includes inpatient responsibilities, ER consults, trauma call, and reconstructive collaboration with breast surgeons.

Practice Details:

• Inpatient responsibilities at main and satellite campuses

• No outreach or telehealth

• Team: 1 physician, 1 APP (no supervision required)

• Nursing support 1:1, ancillary staff 0.5:1

• EMR:
  Epic

• Teaching opportunities available

• Clinic volume: 16+ visits per day

• Appointment length: minutes

• Patient demographics:
  Surgical and cosmetic patients of all ages

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Plastic Surgery Required

• Active Iowa license or IMLC Required

• Minimum 2+ years experience Required

• Clean malpractice and background history Required

Compensation:

• Competitive market rates (hourly + 24-hour call)

• All travel reimbursed (flights, lodging, rental car, mileage per IRS rate)

• Malpractice coverage provided
