John Stoddard Cancer Center , a service of UnityPoint Health – Des Moines, is among the top achieving cancer programs in the nation and has been recognized for its quality cancer care. We have been a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program for over 45 years. We are also a Breast Cancer Center and Clinical Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Center of Excellence. This is a result of decades of research, cancer treatment experience and cancer care technology.

We have one of the most technologically advanced and diverse radiation oncology departments in the Midwest. Responsibilities

• Join our surgical team and Stoddard Cancer Center as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary oncology team
• Participate in well established, multiple disciplinary tumor boards as part of the Stoddard Cancer Center
• Opportunity to engage in teaching in well established ACGME residency programs and medical student education in a learner rich environment
• On-site chemotherapy infusion center
• Da Vinci Xi Robotic platform available
• Participate in clinical trials and cutting-edge research
• Robust operational support and resources in collaborating work environment
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
