Locum to Perm MD/DO Gastroenterologist

Location:

Des Moines, Iowa Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) for a locum to permanent opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa. This is an excellent chance to transition into a long-term role within a reputable health system offering advanced endoscopy services and a supportive clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outpatient and inpatient GI consultations and procedures

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, etc.)Manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders

Participate in shared call coverage and collaborate with referring providers

Qualifications:

Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology Active or eligible Iowa medical license

Advanced endoscopy training (ERCP/EUS) preferred but not required

Strong communication and patient management skills
