About the Position
Locum Jobs Online  is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Radiation Oncology MD in Davenport, Iowa, 52801!

A full-time  Medical Physicist  is needed to provide high-quality therapeutic radiology services. The role includes ensuring the safe delivery of radiation therapy, performing patient-specific QA, supporting treatment planning, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and precise radiation therapy care.

Perform QA on treatment plans, linear accelerators, and patient charts.

Calibrate and commission radiation equipment and implement new technologies.

Work with advanced techniques such as SRS, SBRT, IMRT, DIBH, SGRT, and 3D Conformal.

Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Therapists to optimize patient care.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm

On-call schedule 1:2

No weekend work

Requirements

MS or PhD in Radiology/Radiological Sciences

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Therapeutic Medical Physics

US Board Eligible (with plans to become Board Certified) or Board Certified by A /ABMP

Eligible or willing to obtain state licensure

Clean malpractice history

Recent NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)

Open to 2025 residency graduates who will be Board Eligible upon completion
