Mercy One Iowa Heart Center is seeking a BC/BE General Cardiologist with a passion for teaching to join its well-established practice in the Des Moines metro area. We offer a 2-year income guarantee of $550,000 per year and a $100,000 recruitment incentive. J-1 and H1B candidates are encouraged to apply.

Mercy One Iowa Heart Center was founded in 1970 and is one of the largest cardiovascular practices in the US. With 52 physicians, services include General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Preventative Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease. The center has an accredited Cardiology Fellowship program, advanced imaging including cardiac MRI and cardiac CT, a destination LVAD program, 8 primary office locations, and 28 outreach facilities spanning much of Iowa.

The clinic participates in major STS registries and performs more than 10,000 cardiac interventions annually.
