Job Title: Client Services Coordinator
Location: Des Moines, IA
Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Client Services Coordinator based out of our Des Moines headquarters. We are a local, family‑owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations.

The Client Services Coordinator plays a critical role by managing and reconciling customer orders and credits — spending approximately 85% of their time working in Microsoft Excel. This includes matching orders, reconciling accounts, and preparing detailed reports to ensure accuracy before payments are processed. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in Excel, with strong skills in formatting, filtering, VLOOKUPs, math functions, pivot tables, and reporting.
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential, as this role handles the accounting side of the order and credit process. The remaining 15% of the role involves traditional customer service duties such as answering calls, placing or adjusting orders, and supporting overall client satisfaction.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM, availability for one half‑day on a weekend once a month

What we look for- Highly proficient in Excel – including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formatting, etc.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to handle multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, accurate work
- Willingness to work some weekend hours as needed
- Answer incoming customer calls in a professional and timely manner
- Process food service orders accurately and efficiently
- Write and process customer credits as needed
- Place standing and special orders for customers
- Make outbound calls to acquire produce orders from clients
- Review customer menus and make necessary order adjustments
- Track delivery routes and communicate estimated delivery times to customers
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
