Our client is seeking an experienced leader with Geotechnical Engineer experience to take on the Director of Construction Services role. What you will do:

• Lead and manage geotechnical engineers who conduct site surveys and services for various construction projects
• Communicate and collaborate with project owners, outside construction leaders, field engineers, and company leadership
• Travel daily to job sites in and around DSM, with occasional further travel
• Network to develop and grow the business, deliver project and informational presentations, and be active in the community

What you will need to be successful:

• Civil engineering degree with a geotechnical background
• 8+ years of civil/construction experience
• Proactive and takes initiative with projects
• Willing to take ownership of tasks with a solutions-based approach
• Works well in teams and maintains professionalism in interactions with contractors and project owners
