Business Analyst

We are partnering with a growing team seeking a Business Analyst who can confidently work across both business and technical teams to drive solutions forward. This role will support key initiatives by gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and helping bridge the gap between stakeholders and development teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable navigating conversations with a variety of personalities.

This position is 100% onsite in Des Moines, Iowa. Relocation is not available for this role, and we are not able to work C2C for this opportunity.

• Partner closely with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to clarify needs, manage expectations, and ensure alignment throughout project life cycles.
• Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend practical solutions.
• Investigate issues independently, perform root cause analysis, and clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear documentation for technical teams.
• Provide consistent project updates and status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
• Collaborate with other Business Analysts and project team members to ensure continuity across initiatives.
• Work with third-party vendors and technology partners when needed.
• Support testing, validation, and implementation activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

• 3-10 years experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting technology initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate challenging conversations with confidence.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams (developers) and business partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Industry experience in financial services, insurance, or related sectors.
• Background or exposure to finance, accounting, or investment-related concepts is a plus.
