Demolition & Remediation - Business Development Manager

Purpose:
Increase market share within established geography and manage company recognition through networking, social media, prospecting, existing book of business, and marketing. Collaborate with the Vice President of Business Development and Business Unit Managers to develop and execute sales growth and repeat business strategies.

- Identify prospects and sell environmental abatement/remediation/interior demolition jobs typical of the company in the assigned area or other approved markets.
- Develop new business accounts and expand existing customer relationships to secure major contracts.
- Utilize strategic account planning and sales pipeline management tools, maintaining constant CRM entry and tracking.
- Follow a proven sales process that includes prospecting, qualifying, targeting, identifying customer needs, developing value propositions, presenting solutions and alternatives, and creating project opportunities.
- Penetrate all levels up to and including executive level managers and buyers at large corporations and agencies.
- Maintain knowledge of marketplace issues, industry trends, competitive information, customer expectations, public policy, and other market drivers.
- Participate in industry and community organizations as needed.
- Identify key influencers and develop strategic plans.
- Establish market position through customer interaction, trade association participation, leadership, industry networking, webinars, and other engagement activities.
- Act as a liaison between the operations team and customers to ensure project completion, communication, and satisfaction.
- Assist in collections when a client pays outside of agreed terms.
- Maintain and build the company brand, ensuring consistency across all territories.
- Participate in scheduled team calls.
- Follow company policies and assist the team in supporting core business objectives.

Minimum EducationBachelor's Degree with 2+ years of business development experience, preferably in environmental, construction, or specialty contractor verticals.
Preferred Skill SetTrack record of developing business and long‑term client relationships; superior communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑centric mentality; entrepreneurial experience desirable.
