Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise. The Iowa Public Employees' Retirement System (IPERS) is seeking a Temporary Assistant to support the Chief Innovation Officer (CINO). This role is essential in fostering a culture of innovation within the organization by providing administrative and analytical support.

- Administrative Support:
Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Chief Innovation Officer, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and preparing necessary documentation to support innovative projects. - Project Tracking:
Assist in monitoring ongoing innovation initiatives and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and progress is effectively communicated to stakeholders. - Research and Document Review:
Conduct research on relevant topics to inform innovation strategies, review documents, and provide insights that support decision-making processes. - Business Analysis:
Analyze data and prepare reports on key metrics related to innovation initiatives, offering actionable recommendations to enhance project outcomes.
- Proactive and Detail-Oriented:
The candidate should possess a proactive mindset, with strong attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the CINO in fostering innovation. - Strong Organizational
Skills:

This is a temporary position limited to 780 hours per fiscal year
. Work will be performed at the IPERS office.
Finalists will be subject to a background check.
