Looking for Product Accounting Analyst – Des Moines, IA (Hybrid)
We’re seeking an experienced Product Accounting Analyst in Des Moines, IA. This role follows a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite / 1 day remote) and is ideal for someone who thrives in structured accounting operations and financial reporting environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review accounting work papers and support month‑end close activities
- Execute SOX controls and perform financial statement analysis
- Prepare journal vouchers, reconciliations, tie‑outs, and assist with quarterly and annual (10-K) reporting
- Support ongoing projects and help resolve accounting or system issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of accounting experience (or 2+ years in public accounting)
- Strong experience with monthly/quarterly/year-end close
- Financial statement analysis + SOX controls knowledge
- Exposure to derivatives, investments, or borrowings
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work across departments
