Job Title: SHEQ Manager
Location: Derry, Northern Ireland
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

We are hiring for our client, a respected construction business based in Derry
, who are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead their Safety, Health, Environment and Quality function.

This is an exciting opportunity for a SHEQ Manager to take ownership of safety standards, compliance, and continuous improvement across diverse projects. Working closely with senior management and site teams, you’ll drive a proactive culture of safety and ensure compliance with industry best practice and legislation.

• Competitive salary £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)

• Develop and implement SHEQ policies and procedures ensuring compliance with current legislation
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement preventative measures
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to promote awareness and accountability
• Maintain accurate records of safety performance, training, and audit findings
• Collaborate with site teams and management to drive continuous improvement in SHEQ standards
• Keep up to date with evolving legislation and industry best practice

• NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification
• Strong background in the Construction Industry
• In-depth knowledge of SHEQ regulations and compliance standards
• Proven experience conducting investigations and root cause analysis
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
