X4 Technology are partnered with a leading software organisation that is migrating a number of legacy desktop-based Payroll applications onto their new cloud platform. With a spike in customers completing migrations, the team looking to bring in two interim Migration Specialists to support workload through to May.
Key responsibilitiesAs Migration Specialist, you'll guide customers through the migration process, which involves transferring payroll data from legacy applications to the new central cloud platform via a migration tool. This will include:
- Running migration sessions, using consultancy skills to guide customers smoothly through the process
- Explaining migration tool functionality and addressing Payroll-specific questions
- Supporting customers with data quality checks in both desktop and cloud systems
- Assisting with post-migration data manipulation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Troubleshooting errors and clarifying why certain data may not have transferred
- Potential to lead post-migration training sessions, enabling customers to start booking payroll
- Strong knowledge of payroll
- Experience in migration, implementation, professional services, consulting or similar customer-facing roles within SaaS organisations
- Strong communication and problem skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly
- Comfortable managing multiple migration sessions daily and prioritising workload
- Quick to learn new systems and adapt to varying customer needs
