Role requirements
  • 1 year previous front office and reservations systems exposure
  • 1 year of experience providing strong guest relations including check ins/check-outs, bill preparation and processing and complaint handling.
  • Have strong computer skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to plan, prioritise and build rapport with others
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Ambitious and hard working
Responsibilities to include:
  • Oversee reception staff, schedule shifts, delegate duties, and ensure the team delivers excellent front-of-house service.
  • Train new receptionists, provide ongoing coaching, and monitor performance.
  • Handle escalated guest/client queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure reception desk procedures (check-ins, check-outs, visitor logs, phone/email responses) are followed accurately.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, and support with bookings, correspondence, and data entry.
  • Uphold company policies, health & safety standards, and security protocols (e.g., visitor sign-in, key management).
  • Act as the link between reception staff, management, and other departments.
  • Address day-to-day operational issues quickly and effectively.
