Management Accountant

We are hiring for our client, a well‑established and growing manufacturing organisation based in Mid Ulster, who are seeking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team.

This Management Accountant role offers a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the management accounts function within a commercially focused, forward‑thinking business. The successful Management Accountant will work closely with senior leadership, providing meaningful financial insight to support strategic decision‑making and continued growth.

As Management Accountant, you will:

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide commercial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
• Monitor costings, margins and manufacturing performance metrics
• Partner with operational teams to improve financial controls and efficiencies
• Support year‑end processes and liaise with external auditors
• Develop reporting systems to enhance financial visibility across the business

This Management Accountant position will suit someone who enjoys working closely with the wider business and influencing performance through accurate and timely financial insight.

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or part‑qualified with relevant experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or product‑based environment desirable
• Strong management accounts preparation experience
• Commercially minded with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly
• Proactive, self‑motivated and confident working independently
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
