Financial Controller

A leading renewable energy business is looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to drive financial strategy and governance across key projects. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to complex assets, senior stakeholders, and a dynamic, growing sector.

• Qualified accountant (CA / CIMA / ACCA)
• Strong experience in financial management and reporting to senior executives
• Advanced financial modelling skills
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication abilities
• Confident in managing complex financial processes and stakeholder relationships

• Prepare monthly management accounts, Board Packs, and statutory financial statements
• Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Act as primary finance contact for auditors, investors, customers, and suppliers

• Oversee cash flow forecasting and report risks to stakeholders
• Develop KPI dashboards for performance monitoring
• Mentor and develop the finance team

• Implement and govern Managed Service Agreements
• Challenge costs, pricing, and budget adherence

• Operate without oversight on compliance or financial governance
• Attempt to convince the office coffee machine to make oat milk latte art
