Overview
QHSE Administrator ation:
Remote. Salary: £Negotiable depending on experience + Flexible benefits fund of your choice. Applicant must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
The QHSE Administrator will support the Corporate QHSE Function in the implementation and continual improvement of the QHSE Management Systems.
Knowledge / Experience (Skills)- Knowledge of internal QHSE Management Systems
- Ability to use Microsoft 365
- Understanding of ISO accreditations 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Effective communication skills / be able to communicate in English
- Ability to handle conflict and resolve amicably
- Monitor the inputs to the Performance Improvement Reporting System and HSE Reporting Tool, working with task owners to implement actions to a satisfactory close out, and report weekly performance of both systems to the QHSE Director.
- Continual review of the QHSE and E management systems documentation for currency, working with Service Line and Function leaders to update documentation as necessary.
- Maintain a global audit schedule and work with auditors to ensure audits are being performed within the time limits agreed, reporting performance to the QHSE Director monthly.
- Maintain and implement change to the QHSE pages of the internal Penspen intranet, the Penspen Hub, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date.
- Support completion of QHSE inputs to bids and proposals.
- Support the QHSE team in gathering evidence to successfully maintain certification to International Standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and ISO 27001.
- The focal point for the Management Systems, ensuring all queries, changes and new requests are managed.
- Develop and maintain weekly/monthly HSE Bulletins, Safety Moments, Toolbox Talks (with support from the relevant teams) and ensure timely and effective communication across the business.
- Support continual improvement requirements e.g. scheduling lessons learned, project close-out reporting, and maintain registers of these sessions.
- Conduct HSE Awareness sessions every month, ensuring understanding of our HSE commitments are continually in focus.
In addition to the role Responsibilities, every employee has overall responsibility for:
- Taking reasonable care for your own Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of others who may be affected by your actions.
- Working with the Company to ensure a high standard of Environmental Health and Safety management by following the site EHS procedures. Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards/procedures in your area. This includes reporting any deviations from these standards/procedures, completing corrective actions and making recommendations to prevent similar deviations in the future.
