Link3 Recruitment are looking for a caring, committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist school community, supporting students aged 7–19 with autism and/or communication and interaction needs (no learning disabilities).
Responsibilities- Work closely with teachers and therapists to support students’ learning and wellbeing
- Help create a calm, structured and nurturing environment where students can thrive
- Support communication, emotional regulation and social interaction
- Celebrate progress, big and small, and help students build confidence in themselves

Requirements- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant / LSA)
- Be nurturing, patient and empathetic in your approach
- Have experience working with children or young people (school, care, or similar settings)
- Ideally have experience supporting speech, language and communication needs (highly desirable)
- Be reflective, resilient and passionate about inclusive education
Experience with autism and communication-focused approaches is an advantage—but most important is your commitment to understanding each child as an individual.
