Accounts Technician

Accounts Technician ( ATI/AAT/ICB or equivalent) with duties listed below.

• Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients using Xero and Dext
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders and limited companies
• Preparing and filing Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns
• Processing payroll and pension submissions
• Liaising with clients, HMRC and other statutory bodies
• Supporting senior team members with bespoke client assignments

• ATI/ATT or ICB qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounts preparation in a practice environment
• Proficient in the use of Xero & Dext
• Experience in preparing end-of-year accounts
• Experience preparing tax returns for sole traders and limited companies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to go the extra mile to serve clients to a high standard
• Working in a team in a target driven environment
