Accounting Technician

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with a well-established accountancy practice in Derry as they look to welcome an Accounting Technician into their team. This newly created role offers the chance to join an experienced, supportive team while enjoying excellent progression opportunities and an enhanced benefits package.

As part of this hands‑on position, you will:

• Prepare accounts for a diverse client portfolio.

• Assist with management accounts and year‑end financial statements.

• Prepare and submit VAT returns.

• Liaise directly with clients to gather financial information and respond to day‑to‑day queries.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a similar accountancy practice role (essential).

• IATI or ATT qualification (preferred).

• A proactive, solution‑focused approach.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

The firm provides a competitive package, including:

• Salary: £27‑33,000 per annum.

• Hybrid working with 2 days per week from home.
