  Self–scheduling encouraged, EOW, OT ok if available, flexible scheduling
• Floating: ICU may float to critical care or intermediate care areas when needed

  AIDET validation during orientation, focus on Nurse Communication, whiteboard use, hourly rounding, bedside care conference/hand–off

• Accreditations and Awards: JC – Gold Seal of Approval™ for Healthcare Quality and Safety, JC Stroke, JC Ortho/Spine, Chest Pain Accreditation, Health grades Coronary Intervention and Coronary Procedures Excellence Awards, Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade A, Health grades Patient Safety Excellence Award, Commission on Cancer Accreditation, CMS top performing hospital rankings, Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine Healogics Center of Excellence, American College of Radiology accredited imaging, Vascular Ultrasound accreditation, NICHE.

Requested Skill Set: Medical and Surgical ICU experience. ACLS/BLS required. AIBP experience & CCRN preferred.

Procedures Performed on Unit: Ventilator care, Therapeutic Hypothermia, PCI/STEMI, IABP, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, TEE/cardioversion, temp pacer, Sepsis, Stroke/TPA, DKA. ICU RNs are responders for Code Blue and Rapid Response Team.

Dress Code: Professional scrubs and appearance at all times.
