Position: School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Derry, New Hampshire
A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individual nursing services to a high school student with complex medical needs. This role requires critical care nursing skills and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The nurse will support the student during school hours and accompany them on transportation between home and school, ensuring continuous care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized nursing care tailored to the student's complex medical requirements
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to medical needs throughout the school day
• Accompany and provide nursing support during transportation to and from school
• Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to promote a safe and supportive environment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing interventions and student health status

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with demonstrated experience in school nursing or pediatric care
• Strong critical care skills and the ability to manage complex medical conditions
• Previous experience providing one-on-one nursing in educational settings preferred
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with professionalism
