HGV Driver

Pay: £843.90 per week

Crown Farms forms part of the hugely successful Cranswick Plc.

• Load and move eggs from Farm to Hatchery and Hatchery to farms.
• Follow instructions from the Incubatory Manager & supervisor and maintain high standards of work.
• General cleaning and disinfection of equipment and areas.
• Loading setters with eggs.
• Manual handling when transferring eggs.
• Be confident that standards of welfare are met at all times in the handling of eggs.
• Relief Driver duties as and when required transporting eggs between farm sites and Incubatory. Washing and disinfecting of vehicles.
• Strict adherence to biosecurity rules.
• 11‑day workings across a 2‑week period (1st week 5 days and 2nd week 6 days).
• Drivers may be required to assist with cover in other areas of the business (Live Bird driving and Milling) – whilst real this flexibility is required.

• Numerate and literate for record keeping.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Able to perform manual handling as part of your role.
• Experience with in a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Valid HGV Licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Drivers CPC qualification Card.
