My client based in Derby is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join the team on a temp basis, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organised yard environment while supporting daily operational activities including loading, unloading, stock handling etc

Working Monday-Friday 07:00-17:00 paying £13.28 per hour weekly pay

Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Moving and organising stock within the yard
Maintaining cleanliness and general upkeep of the yard
Assisting customers with product collection
Conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Supporting other departments as required

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment preferred
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
Good understanding of health and safety practices
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
