About the Role
As a Powered Access Engineer, you will split your time between workshop-based maintenance and mobile service work across Derbyshire.
You will be responsible for:
Servicing and repairing Genie equipment, cherry pickers and scissor lifts
Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
Completing pre-delivery inspections
Attending breakdowns using a fully equipped company van
Ensuring all equipment meets safety and compliance standards
This Powered Access Engineer role offers autonomy, variety and consistent hours with optional overtime available.
About You
To be successful in this Powered Access Engineer position, you may have:
Experience working on powered access equipment
Knowledge of Genie machinery, cherry pickers or scissor lifts
Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
A full UK driving licence
A CAP qualification (desirable but not essential)
A proactive and reliable approach to work
Whether you are an experienced Powered Access Engineer or looking to further develop your skills, training and support will be provided.
